From April 25 to 26, on the occasion of the 22nd World Intellectual Property Day, the school held the theme activity of World Intellectual Property Day 2022. The event was co hosted by the School of Intellectual Property, the School of Law and the Library, and was held in the form of "online+offline". More than 200 people participated in the interactive exchange.
On April 25, President Yan Xiaohong attended the opening ceremony and delivered a speech. Vice President Li Hong unveiled the Jiangsu Intellectual Property Operation Center (Jiangsu University) and the Research Center for Intellectual Property Protection of Agricultural Provenance, and heads of relevant functional departments and colleges attended the event.
The event released the white paper on intellectual property rights of Jiangsu University, the development trend of patented technology for agricultural equipment of Jiangsu University (1985-2020), appointed the intellectual property publicity ambassador of Jiangsu University, held the graduation ceremony of intellectual property and new structural economics micro majors, and exhibited excellent works of intellectual property innovation videos.
On April 26, Zhi Suping, Director of the Intellectual Property Office of Jiangsu Province, gave a report entitled "Implementing the Outline of Building a Powerful Intellectual Property Province and Opening a New Journey to Building a Powerful Intellectual Property Province in Jiangsu Province", and shared the spirit guidance and content interpretation of the Outline of Building a Powerful Intellectual Property Country (2021-2035). Yuan Shouqi, secretary of the UCPC, attended and presided over the event.
The theme activity of this World Intellectual Property Day has created a high-quality intellectual property dissemination, created an intellectual property cultural atmosphere with the core of "respecting knowledge, advocating innovation, being honest and law-abiding, and fair competition", and formed a positive interaction with the theme of "Intellectual Property and Youth: Innovation, Building the Future" of this World Intellectual Property Day.
