On June 10-11, 2023, the 4th China Intellectual Property Policy and Management Development Forum was held in Shanghai, with the theme of "Theory and Practice of Intellectual Property Supporting Comprehensive Innovation". The conference was hosted by the Chinese Society of Science and Technology Policy and Tongji University, and organized by the Intellectual Property Policy and Management Committee of the Chinese Society of Science and Technology Policy, Shanghai International Intellectual Property Institute of Tongji University and the School of Economics and Management of Tongji University. More than 300 well-known scholars, researchers and graduate students from universities, scientific research institutions, legislatures, governments and judicial organs across the country participated in the forum. Dean Tang Heng, Associate Professor Cao Zhen, and Master Student Huang Wen were invited to participate in this event and give reports.
On the afternoon of June 10, Professor Tang Heng served as a reviewer of the sub-forum of "Intellectual Property Operation and Innovation Ecosystem", commenting on the keynote speaker's report and giving professional suggestions.
Huang Wen, a master's student, gave a special report entitled "Research on the Cultivation Path of High-value Patent Formation - fsQCA Analysis Based on TOE Framework" at the sub-forum of "Innovation Value and Patent Quality Measurement and Impact". She selected a sample of 10 enterprises to analyze and demonstrate the innovative development path of high-value patent cultivation from the perspective of empirical research, providing new ideas and directions for industry enterprises and intellectual property government management departments.
On June 11, Professor Tang Heng participated in the third sub-forum of the Intellectual Property Special Committee Committee Committee "Intellectual Property Teaching Reform and Curriculum Construction", and made a research report entitled "Analysis of the Basic Conditions for the Authorization of Master's Degree Programs in Intellectual Property Professional Degree Categories", which provided a strong theoretical reference for the scientific distribution of master's degrees in intellectual property majors.
In addition, the Intellectual Property Committee held a working meeting to elect new members, and Associate Professor Cao Zhen became one of the newly elected members.
