Micro Specialty: Intellectual Property

The goal of this program is to cultivate compound and practical talents with expertise in science and engineering and intellectual property. It will help undergraduate students to improve the core competitiveness in employment and the ability of further education.

Six courses, including Introduction to Intellectual Property, Patent Application Practice, Patent Literature Retrieval and Analysis, Intellectual Property Management, Protection and Exploitation of Intellectual Property, Technological Innovation and Standardization, are set up.

Relying on rich network teaching resources and practical experience of intellectual property personnel training, the industry-university joint training mode is adopted to train students for mastering practical skills such as patent writing and application, patent information analysis and utilization, and improving the ability to use the theoretical knowledge and practical skills of intellectual property to better innovate.
