The Intellectual Property School organized a special lecture on the application of projects of the National Social Science Fund

In order to improve the scientific research ability of the faculty and staff of the College, on October 19, the School of Intellectual Property specially invited Professor Tian Gang to give a special lecture entitled "National Social Science Fund Project Application Experience", and gave one-on-one guidance with the faculty on the application project.

Starting from the characteristics of professional research in intellectual property disciplines, Professor Tian Gang briefly introduced the differences between the projects of the National Social Science Foundation and the Natural Science Foundation of China, and then gave a comprehensive explanation from the project selection, problem solving and application of the National Social Science Foundation. He pointed out that the project application should adhere to the national interest drive, closely combine personal research interests and specialties to lay out the plan, pay attention to the accumulation of daily scientific research, carefully study the project guidelines over the years, determine the direction of personal research around the guidelines, focus on the major judgments of the party and the state, major and difficult hot issues in national and regional development, and research and development problems of the discipline professional knowledge system, and boldly assume and carefully argue. In addition, he also explained the skills and methods of social science project application in detail based on his personal experience in the application of national social science fund projects. Subsequently, Guan Yefeng explained in detail the basic situation of the project application of the National Social Science Fund, focusing on explaining the project application process, and pointed out that the Intellectual Property Institute has a strong research foundation and good research capabilities, and it is necessary to seize the research opportunity and achieve a breakthrough in the application of national social science projects in intellectual property theoretical research.

Finally, Professor Tian Gang carried out one-on-one guidance with the teachers of the National Social Science Fund project applied for this time, and provided in-depth guidance from the selection of project titles, logical promotion, viewpoint elaboration, and written expression.

Through the guidance of this lecture, the participating teachers further clarified the application process of the National Social Science Fund, further mastered the skills and methods of project application, and further improved their scientific research capabilities and levels.
