On September 23, the State Intellectual Property Office issued the Notice on Determining the First Batch of National Patent Navigation Engineering Support Service Organizations. As the only university, Jiangsu University was selected into the first batch of national patent navigation engineering support service organizations (in selection).
The purpose of building a national patent navigation project support service organization is to enhance the efficiency of integration and application of various information such as intellectual property, industrial development, market competition, investment and financing, deepen the implementation of patent navigation project, support the construction of patent navigation service base, drive the integration and upgrading of patent navigation service system, improve the level of intellectual property transformation and application, vigorously promote the construction of a powerful intellectual property country, and serve the high-quality development of the economy.
Jiangsu University gave full play to the development mode of "integration of production, teaching, research and application of intellectual property", built an intellectual property big data platform based on the WIPO Technology and Innovation Support Center (TISC), developed a virtual simulation course for patent navigation, served intelligent agricultural machinery, high-performance materials, biomedicine, semiconductor laser and other industries, and carried out patent navigation analysis, forming a number of typical cases promoted in the industry.
In the future, the school will take the national patent navigation project support service organization as the carrier, strengthen the construction of patent navigation as a public service platform, promote the promotion of patent navigation standards, cultivate patent navigation talents, strengthen the connection with parks, enterprises and service organizations, support key core technology research with patent navigation, and help the high-quality development of regional industries.
