In order to improve the quality of the college's professional construction, on the afternoon of June 9, the Institute of Intellectual Property Rights invited Xue Hongli, the deputy director of the Academic Affairs Office, to give a special lecture entitled "Continuously Deepening the Teaching Reform to Boost the Cultivation of Innovative Talents" to all faculty in the Z506 conference room of the old library. The lecture was hosted by Zhao Guanbing, the deputy director of the Institute.

Xue Hongli focuses on the cultivation of innovative talents, focusing on three aspects: curriculum construction, specialty construction, teaching research and teaching reform. She profoundly interpreted the inherent requirements and significance of the cultivation of innovative talents in the new era. Later, she pointed out that we must closely follow the main line of specialty construction, innovate the concept of specialty construction, take quality and connotation improvement as the guidance, consolidate the foundation of curriculum construction, teaching staff, teaching conditions, promote teaching research and reform, establish a sound and perfect teaching security system, and cultivate innovative and versatile talents. Finally, she gave a detailed explanation on the construction of intellectual property specialty. She pointed out that the intellectual property major has a solid research foundation and teaching conditions, a high starting point and a strong level. It is necessary to adhere to the direction of first-class construction, step by step, and plan as a whole to build the intellectual property undergraduate major into a high-quality, characteristic first-class major.

After the lecture, Xue Hongli also answered and communicated with the faculty about the professional construction. This lecture effectively improved the faculty's professional construction concept and knowledge, and provided a solid guarantee for the future construction of intellectual property undergraduate specialty.
