The School of Intellectual Property organized the 2023 Seminar on Undergraduate Talent Training in Intellectual Property

At the meeting, Dean Tang Heng, on behalf of the college, expressed his heartfelt thanks to the Academic Affairs Office of the University and the sister colleges for their strong support for the cultivation of intellectual property talents, and extended a warm welcome to the experts attending the meeting. Wang Hao, the person in charge of the intellectual property major, briefly introduced the basic situation of the construction of the undergraduate major of intellectual property, and focused on the training program of undergraduate intellectual property professionals and the curriculum system setting of the detailed report. Subsequently, the participating experts and leaders conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the cultivation of intellectual property talents. Xue Hongli pointed out that the School of Intellectual Property attaches great importance to the cultivation of undergraduate professionals, from the application of intellectual property professional demonstration to the implementation of professional training programs, many research and demonstration in the early stage, and special meetings are held to discuss and formulate talent training programs, so as to lay a solid foundation for cultivating high-quality intellectual property talents. Li Bingshuo believes that the cultivation of intellectual property undergraduate professionals must clarify the specifications and objectives of talent training, open up the career development channel of students in combination with the professional development prospects, solve the worries of students' career development, and carefully do a good job in the work of students changing majors, credit setting, course content, legal professional qualification examination and patent agent qualification examination, and compilation and use of teaching materials. Zhu Yongyue proposed that in order to improve the quality of talent training, it is necessary to strengthen the foundation of professional construction and resource construction, especially to promote the construction of double-teacher teachers, strengthen the investment of talent training resources, and enhance the comprehensive competitiveness of students. Han Fei analyzed the courses involved in the talent training program and proposed alternative improvement options for some courses. Combined with the experience of medical insurance professional development, Zhang Xinjie proposed that the intellectual property major should strengthen the leading role of the professional leader, and should be at the forefront of the country in terms of high-quality teaching materials and professional courses. Huang Juan focused on the revision of the mechanical courses in the talent training program, and combined with her rich teaching experience to carry out exchanges. Teachers of the School of Intellectual Property and participating experts conducted in-depth exchanges and discussions on the construction of intellectual property majors in an all-round way.

Finally, on behalf of the college, Tang Heng once again expressed his gratitude to the participating experts for their valuable experience and useful suggestions in professional construction.
