On November 4-5, 2022, the 9th Sanjiang Intellectual Property Forum was successfully held in Jiangsu University, Zhenjiang. This forum was hosted organized by Intellectual Property School of Jiangsu University, Jiangsu Intellectual Property Research Center, New Structural Economics Intellectual Property Research Institute, and Jiangsu Huizhi Intellectual Property Service Co., Ltd.

Yuan Shouqi, Secretary of the Party Committee of Jiangsu University; Zhi Suping, Director of Jiangsu Intellectual Property Office; Xiao Xingwei, Chairman of the National Intellectual Property Expert Advisory Committee, former member of the Party Group and Head of the Discipline Inspection Team of the State Intellectual Property Office; Mr. Huang Wanrong, member of the Party Group of Zhenjiang Municipal Government, and other leaders attended the event and delivered speeches. The opening ceremony was presented by Li Hong, Vice President of Jiangsu University.

Focusing on "Building an Intellectual Property Power Oriented to China-style Modernization", Professor Liu Chuntian, President of the Intellectual Property Law Research Association of the China Law Society and Dean of the Intellectual Property School of Chinese Minmin University; Professor Lv Wei, Member of the Standing Committee of the 13th National People's Congress, Member of the Finance and Economics Committee, and former Director of the Innovation and Development Research Department of the Development Research Center of the State Council; Professor Ma Yide of the University of Chinese Academy of Sciences; and Professor Feng Xiaoqing, Director of the Intellectual Property Law Institute of China University of Political Science and Law, delivered keynote speeches respectively. It was a feast to share experiences and to share new perspectives. The keynote speech session of this event was presented by Professor Tang Heng, Dean of the School of Intellectual Property of Jiangsu University.

In the roundtable dialogue session, focusing on "Intellectual Property Protection in the Process of Chinese-style Modernization", Han Aipeng, Director of the Jiangsu Patent Examination Cooperation Center of the Patent Office of the State Intellectual Property Office; Ma Ning, Deputy Secretary-General of the China Intellectual Property Research Association; Song Jian, former member of the Adjudication Committee of the Jiangsu Higher People's Court and former President of the Intellectual Property Division; Hong Jinxiang, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Subbot New Materials Co., Ltd.; and Wu Liya, Deputy General Manager of Jiangsu Zhiyi United Intelligent Manufacturing Co., Ltd., conducted in-depth dialogues and exchanges. There is also a vivid condensation at the practical level, and jointly contribute wisdom to the protection of intellectual property rights in the process of Chinese-style modernization.

The event also included two sub-forums: "National Seminar on the Construction of Intellectual Property Degrees" and "Improving the Efficiency of Intellectual Property Operation and Promoting Green Development - CEO Dialogue on Patent Operation".

At the sub-forum of the "National Seminar on the Construction of Intellectual Property Degrees", Quan Li, Vice President of Jiangsu University; Yi Zhi, Second-level Inspector of the Personnel Department of the State Intellectual Property Office; Liu Chuntian, President of the Intellectual Property Law Research Association of the China Law Society and Dean of the Intellectual Property School of Chinese Minmin University, attended the event and delivered speeches respectively. Professor Tao Xinliang, Vice President of the China Intellectual Property Research Association and Honorary Dean of the School of Intellectual Property of Shanghai University, introduced the review and development of the construction of intellectual property disciplines, and Professor Tang Heng, Dean of the School of Intellectual Property of Jiangsu University, introduced the work of the Secretariat for the Demonstration of the Establishment of Intellectual Property Degrees. Experts and scholars from more than 20 universities and scientific research institutions, including the National Intellectual Property Expert Advisory Committee, Peking University, Tsinghua University, University of Science and Technology of China, University of Chinese Academy of Sciences, and Tongji University, conducted in-depth discussions and exchanges on topics such as the training positioning, training mode and working mechanism of intellectual property professional degree talents.

At the sub-forum of "Patent Operation CEO Dialogue", Professor Tang Heng, Dean of the School of Intellectual Property of Jiangsu University, released a report on low-carbon innovation under the goal of Chinese-style modernization. Du Wei, Director of Intellectual Property Office of Dalian Institute of Chemical Physics, Chinese Academy of Sciences; Dai Dejian, Senior Manager of Intellectual Property in Changhong, Sichuan; Nie Xin, Assistant Director of the Legal and Compliance Department of Shanghai Aircraft Design and Research Institute; Ma Tianqi, Executive Director and General Manager of Beijing Zhizhuan Beidou Intellectual Property Consulting Co., Ltd.; Liu Yang, Chief Operating Officer of Hexaprism and former Deputy Director of the Patent Office of the State Intellectual Property Office, held thematic dialogues on hot topics in patent operation and shared the latest practical achievements and successful experiences.

The theme of this forum is in line with the new requirements of the development of Chinese-style modernized intellectual property, focusing on the demands and realization paths put forward by the realization of Chinese-style modernization on the construction of an intellectual property power, taking the lead in building a platform for exchanges and interactions between academic and practical circles in China, providing suggestions and suggestions for jointly promoting the supporting and leading role of intellectual property in the field of scientific and technological innovation and industrial development, making new contributions to the construction of an intellectual property power oriented to Chinese-style modernization, and contributing Chinese experience to the development of world intellectual property.
