On the morning of April 28, the book launch of "China's Intellectual Property Strategy from the Perspective of New Structural Economics" was held at Peking University, jointly sponsored by the Institute of New Structural Economics of Peking University, the Intellectual Property Institute of New Structural Economics, the Intellectual Property School of Jiangsu University and Peking University Press.

In the new era, China's economy has shifted from high-speed growth to high-quality development, and is in urgent need of more comprehensive and stringent intellectual property protection, and to promote the full integration of intellectual property strategy and industrial innovation and development. Based on the theory of new structural economics, "China's Intellectual Property Strategy from the Perspective of New Structural Economics" systematically explains the implementation and development of China's intellectual property strategy from the national and industrial levels, focusing on the five major industries of leading, catch-up, lane change and overtaking, transfer and strategy, which has very important academic and practical value.

In his speech, Ji Chuanbo, editor-in-chief of Peking University Press, reviewed the fruitful achievements of independent theoretical innovation and academic publishing in economics represented by Professor Lin Yifu's New Structural Economics, and said that it is the responsibility and mission of the University Press to promote first-class theoretical innovation with first-class academic publishing. This book is a new research achievement of new structural economics in the important field of intellectual property, and it is also one of the achievements of the national key publication publication planning project during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. The authors' team has both profound knowledge in the theoretical research of new structural economics and rich practical experience in intellectual property, which has added another excellent work to the theoretical system of China's independent innovation.
