On the afternoon of April 8, Yin Yongqian, Director of Jiangsu Federation of Trade Unions Employee Science and Technology Activity Centre, Zhang Hongsheng, Deputy Director, Wang Yong, Director of Training Department, Sun Yilei, Deputy Director of Science and Technology Department, and their four-member delegation went to the Intellectual Property Institute for research and exchange. Tang Heng, Secretary of the Party Branch directly under the Institute, Zhao Guanbing, President of the Institute, Han Kueiguo, Vice President of the Institute, Wang Manyong, Director of the Party and Government Affairs Office, and Anying, Head of Patent Office, were involved in the research and study, and the meeting was presided over by Tang Heng.

Tang Heng, on behalf of the college, warmly welcomed the leaders of Jiangsu Federation of Trade Unions Employee Science and Technology Activity Centre and their entourage and systematically introduced the general situation of intellectual property work of Jiangsu University, the history of the college's development, the development mode of "integration of intellectual property, industry, academia, research and application" and the achievements of running the college, especially the special work around the intellectual property talent cultivation system and the construction of the intellectual property data laboratory and other special work. In particular, he gave a detailed and in-depth introduction to the IP talent cultivation system and the construction of IP big data laboratory. Afterwards, Wang Manrong made a live demonstration on the construction of IPR big data platform and service development.

Yin Yongqian fully affirmed the running characteristics of our institute, and he believed that Jiangsu University has formed a solid foundation in the cultivation of intellectual property talents, social training and social services. At the same time, Director Yin Yongqian introduced the working concepts, ideas and practices of Jiangsu Workers' Science and Technology Activity Centre in giving full play to intellectual property rights in empowering frontline workers' scientific and technological innovation in the province, and put forward the expectation of enhancing the awareness and ability of intellectual property protection of frontline workers in the province through expanding publicity and training to stimulate the enthusiasm of innovation and creativity of the frontline workers in the province continuously. Subsequently, the two sides had an in-depth exchange of views on how to enhance the awareness of IPR protection for frontline workers more widely, carry out IPR professional training and skills enhancement based on the needs of frontline workers more professionally, and serve workers' scientific and technological innovation and enterprises' technological development more efficiently through the resources of big data, among other key tasks.

In the next step, the two sides will further strengthen exchanges and co-operation, give full play to the resource advantages of the two sides, and do practical things and make practical suggestions for the workers in the province by jointly carrying out intellectual property rights training and data resource services, etc., so as to provide support for the high-quality development of scientific and technological innovation and intellectual property rights in Jiangsu.
