To scientifically plan the development blueprint of the College for the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan" and strengthen the distinctive construction of intellectual property, the leadership of the College conducted special research at the Law School of Wuhan University and the Intellectual Property College of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law from November 11th to 12th. They gained an in-depth understanding of the advanced experiences and distinctive practices of sister institutions, providing important references for the College's "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan."

Ning Lìzhì, the head of the Intellectual Property and Competition Law Institute at Wuhan University, systematically introduced the basic conditions and distinctive highlights of intellectual property discipline construction, talent cultivation, key research directions, research teams, and academic platforms. Special emphasis was placed on how the discipline team serves national strategic needs and cultivates top innovative talents. Both sides conducted in-depth exchanges on areas of cooperation such as graduate talent cultivation and expert intellectual support, further enriching the College's high-end intellectual resources and high-level talent cultivation channels.

Professor Huang Yuye, Dean of the School of Intellectual Property at Zhongnan University of Economics and Law, introduced in detail the distinctive work in the cultivation system for intellectual property master's and doctoral students, think tank platforms, and academic exchange platforms. She noted that as the first national key research base for humanities and social sciences in intellectual property under the Ministry of Education, the Intellectual Property Research Center of Zhongnan University of Economics and Law has consistently adhered to the distinctive training philosophy of integrating "economics, management, and law." It adopts an elite class enrollment and training model, continuously supplying composite intellectual property talents to society.

This research tour has provided new inspiration for the high-quality development of scientific research and talent cultivation in our school for the "Fifteenth Five-Year Plan." The school will combine its unique characteristics to further strengthen the integrated research of intellectual property with science, technology, economy, and culture, and build an intellectual property full-chain development system of "theoretical research-talent cultivation-think tank services-social application." It will promote the high-quality development of intellectual property education and cultivate more high-quality professional talents for the national intellectual property cause.
