To deeply implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China and enhance the quality of talent cultivation, on November 28, Wang Jingquan, Party Standing Committee member and Vice President of the university, held a symposium with students from Class 2301 of the IP School's connected classes in the Z511 multi-functional room of the old library. Tang Heng, Party Branch Secretary of the school's direct branch, Zhao Guanbing, Dean of the school, Li Qiang, Vice Dean of the school, and all students of Class 2301 participated in the symposium. The meeting was chaired by Tang Heng.

During the symposium, Wang Jingquan, with the theme "Striving Forward with Mission and Planning New Chapters for the Future," focused on the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee of the Communist Party of China, explaining the national development strategies and talent cultivation aspects during the 15th Five-Year Plan period. He combined the significant achievements of the university in areas such as comprehensive Party leadership, discipline construction, talent development, and comprehensive governance, inspiring teachers and students to adapt to the new development stage and actively align with national strategic needs. He emphasized that the 15th Five-Year Plan period is a critical time to lay a solid foundation and fully advance the realization of socialist modernization. He urged new-era university students to take the plan as a guide, set their goals firmly, refine implementation measures, and build a solid foundation for professional expertise through practical actions. He hoped that all teachers and students would consolidate and expand their advantages, break through bottlenecks, strengthen weaknesses, and gain strategic initiative.
