To enrich the intellectual and cultural life of faculty and students, enhance communication, and foster unity, on March 27 the Party Branch, Trade Union, and Women’s Federation of Jiangsu University’s Intellectual Property School jointly organized a unique spring‑themed practical activity. Faculty and student Party members together with non‑Party faculty members visited the Fure Hot Flower Sea in Jurong, Zhenjiang, for an engaging outdoor experience.
Stepping into the scorching flower sea scenic area, colorful flowers compete in beauty, resembling a magnificent spring scroll. Faculty and students stroll along the winding flower paths, pausing to admire or take photos, feeling the vitality and romance of nature in the gentle breeze. The vibrant flower fields and fresh air allow everyone to fully relax their minds and bodies.
In the baking experience area of the scenic spot, a delightful cookie baking activity took place with great joy. Under the guidance of professional bakers, faculty and students transformed into "pastry masters," meticulously going through each step from kneading dough, rolling out pastry to stamping molds, and baking. Everyone fully unleashed their creativity, making cookies of various shapes, drawing "unity circles" in collaboration, and gathering the strength of unity and progress. As the oven dinged, the rich aroma of milk filled the air, and everyone tasted the fruits of their labor, their faces beaming with satisfaction and joy.
Subsequently, the teachers and students entered the flower picking garden, where they experienced agricultural culture through getting close to the soil and identifying different flowers, and enjoyed the fun of picking in the countryside. Holding flower shears, they carefully selected their favorite flowers, immersed in the joy of the harvest. Basket after basket of flowers not only carried the gifts of spring but also deepened everyone's understanding of agricultural education through labor practice, allowing them to experience the value of labor and the happiness of the harvest.
This event, integrating sightseeing, experience, and exchange, is a vivid practice of the direct branch of the Party, the branch trade union, and the Women's Federation in caring for teachers and students and enhancing organizational cohesion. It is also an important measure for the college to promote the deep integration of Party activities, trade union activities, and traditional cultural education such as agriculture, deepening united front work through the "United Circle" concept. It fully reflects the multi-dimensional integration effects of Party building leading trade union building, trade union building promoting united front work, and education nurturing the people. Everyone expressed that the event not only allowed them to relax and strengthen bonds amidst their busy work and studies but also, through collective activities, felt the warmth of the college family.
