The Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences visited the School of Intellectual Property for research purposes

To further promote collaborative development between the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences and various colleges, on May 18th, representatives from the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences visited the School of Intellectual Property for a special discussion and research session. Zhu Lingping, Secretary of the Party Committee of the Faculty, along with Deputy Secretaries Zhong Xiaohui and Shen Hui, along with the leadership team and relevant officials from the School of Intellectual Property, participated in the meeting.


At the meeting, Zhao Guanbing, Dean of the School of Intellectual Property and Deputy Director of the Faculty of Humanities and Social Sciences, reported on the school’s development. He provided detailed information regarding the schools educational philosophy, development model, talent cultivation, scientific research, social services, and patent management. He emphasized that the school consistently adheres to the “integration of industry, academia, research, and application” model, focusing on interdisciplinary integration. The school also strives to develop a distinctive brand in intellectual property services, thereby continuously improving the quality of talent cultivation and social service capabilities.


Zhu Lingping fully recognized the achievements of the School of Intellectual Property in its development. She noted that the school has grown from nothing to something remarkable, with its core competitiveness continuously strengthening. She emphasized that the department will continue to unify thoughts, build consensus, coordinate resources, streamline processes, and effectively address the urgent needs of faculty and students. She also called for all affiliated schools to make progress together and for interdisciplinary integration. Zhu hoped that the school would maintain its spirit of determination, seize development opportunities, further develop its strengths as a school specializing in intellectual property, tap into potential for social services, and continue to highlight its unique features and advantages.


The meeting facilitated in-depth discussions on matters such as the integrated development of departments and colleges, as well as talent cultivation. It helped to build consensus on development priorities and clarify the direction of efforts, thereby laying a solid foundation for further promoting high-quality collaborative development between departments and colleges.
