On September 6th, the Intellectual Property College held a meeting for graduate students and faculty in Room 511 of the Old Library. The meeting was attended by Dean Zhao Guanbing, Vice Dean Han Kui, and Li Qiang, as well as all faculty members and new graduate students.

At the meeting, Zhao Guanbing, representing the academy, warmly welcomed all new students. He comprehensively introduced the academy's overall academic situation, covering its history, academic development, faculty, research platforms, and achievements in talent cultivation. Relevant faculty members then provided detailed explanations regarding the graduate program, curriculum design, course selection process, academic standards, and training requirements. This clarified the core tasks and important considerations for graduate students, offering clear guidance to new students in planning their studies and progressing through the curriculum effectively.
During the interaction between the professor and students, the professor provided a detailed overview of their research area, academic achievements, research focus, and unique training methods. The incoming freshmen from the Class of 2026 then introduced themselves individually, sharing their academic background, areas of interest, and career aspirations. This allowed them to demonstrate their proactive and inquisitive spirit. The atmosphere was warm and engaging.
This meeting facilitated efficient communication between faculty and students, enabling precise matching between mentors and new students. This, in turn, deepened the new students' understanding and acceptance of their chosen field, department, and academic research.
