To pass on the red heritage, carry forward the great Long March spirit, and promote the deep integration of the achievements of Party history study and education with intellectual property work, on the afternoon of October 14 the Intellectual Property Party Branch held a special Party lecture in Meeting Room 506 of the Old Library. The lecture was delivered by Zhao Guanbing, Secretary of the Party Branch, and all Party members of the branch took part in the study.

Themed "Carrying Forward the Great Long March Spirit and Walking the New Long March of Building China's Intellectual Property Strength," the lecture led all Party members to revisit the heroic epic of the Long March and to look back on that arduous and extraordinary journey. During the lecture, Zhao Guanbing gave an in-depth interpretation of the core essence of the Long March spirit — unwavering conviction, independence and self-reliance, and unity and mutual assistance — and expounded its spiritual value that transcends eras. He also, in light of the current development situation, likened the building of China's intellectual property strength to a new Long March in the new era, guiding Party members to draw strength from the history of the Long March and to clarify the mission and tasks of intellectual property work in the new era. The lecture called on all Party members to carry on the red bloodline, strengthen their ideals and convictions, work with dedication in their own posts, and walk the new Long March of intellectual property in the new era with firm resolve.

This Party lecture closely integrated the study of the red spirit with the development of the intellectual property cause, further consolidating the ideological consensus among the Party members of the branch. The participating Party members stated that they would transform the Long March spirit into a powerful driving force for fulfilling their duties, have the courage to overcome difficulties, strive to be pioneers in their intellectual property posts, and contribute, with practical actions, to building China's strength in intellectual property.
